Nobody who's witnessed a sheep dog trial would have any difficulty
believing it. Of course 1 hour's worth of shepherding might be collapsed
into 5-10 seconds due to the time=lapse photography, but there's nothing
there that couldn't be done with a good set of border collies. Much more
difficult things are done in every sheep dog trial, where no verbal
commands can be given, and the single shepherd (not a team) has to
remain in place, not moving around to give guidance.

The "Mona Lisa" took manual repositioning of individual sheep within a
flock, as depicted in the video. Sheep tend not to move around too much
when crowded into a rectangular pen like that, and with multiple
re-takes over many weeks, the effects as seen are quite plausible.
