The Saxon barmaid *pours* the Norman soldier a drink, unconsciously  
wrinkling her nose at the garlic smell oozing from his *pores*. He  
cops a feel, and after a *pause* she dumps the ale on his head and  
shouts: "Keep your filthy *paws* off me!"
