I'm reminded of the story about a Chief going for Officer Candidacy just 
after WW II. He was doing well, until asked what US Carriers were named 
after. He immediately said "Insects".

The panel gave him a down check, and just as he was leaving, asked what 
ships he'd served on.

"Wasp and Hornet" he replied.
