I have Acrobat Pro 7 and a scanner, but I'm not sure if it has OCR handling built in. And then, of course, I don't have a copy of those books! If someone has a copy to lend, I will see what my scanner will handle. I'm in the US if that makes a difference.

Anyone got the chops to OCR the stuff to make a searchable PDF? Maybe you
could fix Jon's typos then too (as you won't have to retype the whole page)?
Just a thought (although a labour intensive one).
