Every gaming item I ever sold I regret.

I sold about three quarters of my game collection when I moved from Canada down here to Louisiana (spread over the course of about 3 years).

I can't say that I regret everything. I still have a lot of games I
never get a chance to play. Many of the games I sold weren't as great
as I remembered, anyway. I sold my entire collection of Supremacy, but
I don't think I ever played more than 3 games to completion. I had
about 75% of the ASL modules, but I finally had to admit I'd never
learn the system; I sold it all to a guy in Alaska.

I regret a couple of games I sold, mostly because I now have an 8 year
old son. I probably regret selling of Advanced Heroscape most, as I
think he'd get a kick out of it right now. We were talking about Car
Wars a little while ago, and how I had most of the modules (though I
also remember the dense rule book, and think that maybe it wasn't all
that I remember it to be...).

For the most part, though, the games I have and play now I prefer to
those that I sold. I do still have a bunch of old games that I won't
sell (such as Avalon Hill's Gunslinger, and Up Front) but I notice
that I hardly play those even though I want to keep them.

Only AH game I still have is Wizards Quest, my first weekly gaming group played it all the time. The kids and I still pull that one out every few months. When they remember Dad has not watched a Harry Potter movie and will always loose at "Harry Potter- scene it".
