On the other, other hand, if you pasted printed sheets on thin wood board,
had a VERY slow turning drill, and found some dowels the right size for the
center hole,  you could use 'em for ships bases as well. Add a little
lacquer/varnish/whatever, and away you go. Hmm...

Otherwise, exactly as you say, with the added fun of the shreddings
launched at impressive velocity. Snowstorm!
