And IIRC they were supposed to have the same 15" turrets as the Bismark and
Tirpitz, giving them 6x15", but were equipped with the same 3x11" as the
pocket battleships due to production problems.

6x15" would have made them the equivalent of the RN Renown and Repulse BCs.
