U know after I stopped to look at them, I beleive U are right.. They both are carrying about 1 Mass point in FT scale and might need a "hanger access" to make things easier for transfers.

I thought since cutters & pinnaces were bigger, they would need the extra room in ships that already had hangers. And there ARE exceptions to that rule in my follow-up post.
