Very current Tactical MVs are pretty capable off 
road. They can't cross trenches very well or deal 
with boggy ground terribly well, but if the 
ground is relatively firm they can go. The 8x8 
and 10x10 trucks that Oshkosh makes/sells are 
very capable off road. Their MTVR, HEMMT, and HET 
are very adept. More so than my old 2.5 ton truck.
