That sounds really cool. I've dreamed about doing something like this 
since back in the days of High Guard and Striker but never got it put 
together. Would love to give it a try sometime. But...

That's ok our first attempt was with (a very stream lined) Star Fleet 
Battles as the fleet component and with Striker as the ground 
component. We did a feet battle from Deep Space Nine TV show
where the station was boarded. I had the big model (still have it)
of DS9 the two fleets, and a huge SSD of the station interior where
in effect a bunch of small skirmishes were fought.

I'm updating this idea using the much better Full Thrust and Stargrunt
rules. I'm working on the SSD for a Berserker Warmachine, should
be nasty but fun.........)
