Re: [GZG] A question for canon GZG universe

Whoa, Bucky, you haven't done the canon run yet... ;->=
Also, I think he's talking about human modification, mostly.
I don't think there's anything, including variant rules, that mentions this
yet. Course, being a vacchead, my readings of SGII and DSII would be
considered 'cursory'.
Damn vaccheads have an opinion on *everything*. Not that there's
anything wrong with that... ;-)
It should still be wide open, fertile ground for your imagination. However,
I'd pretty much assume that any enhancements would be pretty universal in
armed forces after some time. Especially, if you assume that space
transport is at least as expensive as ground transport, which would in fact
be additive.
While those of us paying for maintenance meds, in a sense, bio-enhancement,
might find it hard to believe, the expensive part is development; I'd think
individuals 'jacked up' would tend not to be a big added expense, IF
indeed, you are talking about 'super troopers'.
Perhaps, but not that interesting to play if it's completely universal.
I'd like to see a more Masamune Shirow future where the real heavy duty
stuff is not only expensive in development, but also in maintenance.
I've been wondering what it would be like to play Ghost in the Shell
with Stargrunt or FMA and what the mods for "super humans" would be like.
Your PS(ocial)B limitations to the tech would, of course, vary.

What is the status of Bio-Design work? I mean for Human's.
BioGen is located in a favorable regulatory environment,
ie the Alarishi Empire, with a planetoid to itself. The
company is believed to be involved in desiging macro bio
weapons (eg larger than 10cm, eg raptors, wolves, etc) as
well as tailored virii and insects. This has not been
verified and the company does not issue press releases.
