Re: [GZG] [FT] "mini-campaign" scenarios?

Chanting in the rune-encrusted magic circle at midnight,
I raise this thread from the dead:
	http://lists.firedrake.org/gzg/200307/msg00082.html

I was wondering about the feasibility of adapting
some of the Amarillo Star Fleet Battle scenarios
to Full Thrust.

I'm thinking specifically about "The Lone Grey Wolf"
scenario. A lone dreadnaught, 600 parsecs deep in
enemy territory, low on fuel, is trying to sneak
back to safety.

The interesting game mechanic is the forces table.
A set of six linked games are played, with limited
repair available in between games. At the start of
each game, a roll is made on the table to discover
which task force the dreadnaught will have to
escape from.

In addition, if a game lasts more than 20 turns,
a new roll is made on the table, to reveal which
new hostile task force turns up.

I suppose each force in the table has a point value
comparable to a dreadnaught, though I haven't analyzed it
yet.

Has anybody made something similar for Full Thrust?

Does anybody have any thoughts about the point limitations on each task force in order to make a balanced scenario? _______________________________________________ Gzg-l mailing list Gzg-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-l
