My understanding was that Armory primer is actually re-labeled Krylon.
Same paint, same manufacturer, different label.

I've used the black primer by "Armory" lots, and had fine success with
it.

If you choose to spend the big $$, the black primer by GW is good - very

black, great coverage.  Waayyy too expensive though.
