[GZG] Re- weapon ideas/+ Jovian punch up

Thanx, fellas. I'll be sure to get my friend to put 'em on here or 
elsewhere. I was just worried that I'd innundate you all with a deluge, 
thats all. As for Don Tuff wanting to use any of it, that would be 
mindblowing, obviously.
On a completely unrelated tangent, has anyone ever had a scrap in the upper 
atmosphere of a jupiter-style gas world? (Wow, I bet you don't get questions 
like that on the Paris Hilton appreciators m-list. This list rules!)Its just 
we did the other day and it made for an interesting fight.
The scenario 'mod' was moronically simple: Fail your first engine threshold 
role and start taking d3/d6 damage every turn due to sinking deeper towards 
the planets core, fail the second and keep taking D6/D12/worse. No rocks, 
just gas clouds and the like. Probably bad physics, yet in the immortal 
words of Einstein 'sod it'.
We didnt use fighters or ordinance and to be honest I havent factored them 
in thus far, though I'd be fascinated/horrorfied to see how boarding pods 
get on.
Anyhow, my old sparring partner (Is that best enemy?) Matt Tope is coming up 
to my place next week. Some of you might know him and he says hello. We're 
going to fight a vital campaign battle/season finale to the tune of 40,000 
points. I think my gaming group fantasises about being Cecil B Demill. I can 
post the fleet lists if anyones interested/ willing to indulge our 
stupidity.
