Re: [GZG] OT: 25 MM Vehicle Size Comparisons
Hiya,
I'm trying to build a small collection of 25mm figures for use in my
D20 Future setting. I'm currently weighing my options for a small
Infantry Vehicle. The ideal would be capable of fitting two in an
interface lander the size of a C-130, but capable of carrying one or
two fire teams. I've looked at the DLD Kamodo, and judging from the
size comparison picture, it's too big. Can anyone tell me how the
following vehicles compare in size?
GZG M38D LIPPC (SF25-57)
GZG Phalanx (SF-25-86)
I've never see the Old Crow vehicles "live", so no comment there.
The Phalanx is similar in size to the Kamodo, and taller when fully
constructed. I would suggest too big for what you want.
The M38D is much more suited to your requirements in size.
On the GZG store
http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/commerce.cgi?product=SF25&keywords=&cart_id=187507.21468&exact_match=on&next=20
they have a picture of it, but better yet, they have a picture of it next
to an interface lander here:

at the bottom of the page.
I would say in SG game terms that the M38D would be a size 2 or 3 vehicle
(3 at most, stretching), with enough interior space for 2 crew and 4-6
dismounts, but YMMV.
