libwmf includes programs such as wmf2svg and wmf2eps, so you can
convert it to other file formats.

Just "emerge libwmf" on Gentoo Linux to download and install
(other flavours of OS may vary...)
It seems to come pre-installed on Ubuntu Linux.
Having had a quick glance at the Sourceforge page, there might even be a
version for that obscure OS from Redmond by some guy named Bill. ;)
Brian, happily Windows-free since May of this year.
