I''m leaning towards rings and decals.  Otherwise you have to cut a hole in the wall.  This way you glue it in. paint, and apply th decal.

And as someone pointed out, I was talking about Dwarven Forge. Fantasy Forge is another
bunch of guys. I didn't realize they only had one iris in their sci-fi line. I've *seen*
some really nice sci fi corridors that I *know* had sci-fi doors (now that I meditate on
it, no round iris valves). But I forget who made them, but I'm almost sure it was someone
british, maybe Ainsty.
