[GZG] Mix N Match, was: Of Vehicles and Nations, Part II - revision

I think a certain amount of Mix N Match is feasible if the manufacturers
chose to do it this way. Let's start with the sculptor. You don't
have to make every miniature in your line compatible with each
other. Instead, you could have a line of 4 miniatures, let's say.
I'm not a sculptor, but he could standarize the turret/hull interface
for these 4 miniatures. Next, to keep from having to stock all of
the various piece, don't do it. Just sell these 4 miniatures
with some default combination. Then you market the whole thing as
interchangeable. Buy these two packs, and you can interchange the
turrets and hulls giving you 4 different models. If you buy 3 different
packs, you can create 9 different models. Hoo boy!
