Martin Connell and I ran a game at the ECC last year using FT/FMA to run a Star Wars fighter game. I would love to see a copy of these rules and compare. Our game seemed to run rather well, although a bit more complicated as you noted w/ Mr. Francis' version. The Amazing Mr. Francis has already sent me a copy of the article in question! With the article attached, he obviously couldn't send his reply to the list, but it was necessary to attach the article as he tells me it's no longer on the web.
Should anyone else desire a copy, sans attractive but unnecessary illustrations of Star Wars fighters, please contact me DIRECT, and I'll forward a copy.
Speaking of Star Wars, I should point out the original stats given are for that genre, but I think quite adaptable. These rules take some extra work, obviously, but there are occasions where you wish to focus on how the various fighters interact, and this seems like a colorful way to do so.
Thanks, Tony!
