A minor point here (and this is a really minor point...) - it is "Anglian",
not "Anglican".

NAC = New Anglian Confederation

The "New Anglican Confederation" might make for an interesting alternative
setting, or maybe someone's personal stellar power or something.  A
church-run state whose head is the Monarch of the New Anglian Confederation...

And what about all those poor Episcopalians....

New Episcopalian Confederation?  The NEC?  They also make monitors... :)
