Well, as a native son of a native daughter of California (born in
'...Rural Los Angeles City...'  on birth certificate) I had to leave

I think Californians get a bad rap due to geography, they have no 
more flakes and nuts than anyone else. It's just theirs are concentrated
on certain fault lines......)
