I suppose that this discussion just goes to show that deciding what's
"fun" is in the mind of the beholder.

I tend to the FT side for my board gaming (fun and speed trump
"realism") but, back in the day, I was a flight simulator guy, and
would happily spend hours flying a single combat mission in Falcon 3.0
or EF 2000.
