Suppressive fire has a long history in cinema, from cowboys 'keep their
heads down', to MG's blithely spraying to the tune of 'give him cover.'

Often used in hostage situations, the hostages never got shot, until
recently.

Still, it suggests suppression should be over a larger area than
target-to-kill, with fewer percent of kills.
