Sanded down the layering in the lamination and cut up the ring into
quadrants. The sections maintained the curve perfectly! So I think we
have a winner. Unfortunately I discovered that the form I was using
was bigger then I actually needed so the pieces are too big for the
section they were made for. On the plus side they can still be used
for the larger capital ship sized wing sections.

You can see the difference between the hand bent ring and the
laminated one size by side.

I just now have to find a smaller diameter form and I can crank them
out very quickly.
