By the way, I know the words 'leapt from a dealer's booth' sounds like
poetic license, but it was literal truth. He had to vault some piled
boxes
to get out directly to the walkway. I was a bit startled, and lucky I
didn't think I had to defend myself.

I hate looking stupid AND getting injured at the same time...
