Sounds like he's talking about pie-slice-shaped templates; FTII just has
the sighting ring, right?

Of course, works as a place to start. You could image copy, not the DB
type, of course, and use something as simple as Paint to blow it up to
the
size you need, and add simple lines to make the pie shape.

Kinda weirds me out as complex, though, especially carrying around this
baggage. I will admit it may save time as you don't have to sight
through a
recticle, then measure distance.

I noticed he didn't go up to a full inch for MU's. A yard long, 120
degree,
pie-sliced bit of card sounds very awkward.
