Ummm, maybe a dumb question, but all measurements scale, right? So
this would mean you would need less room to play an engagement.
Or you have relatively more space to go faster, make wider turns etc.

The only problem with cm's vs. inches is that measurement errors might
be relatively larger, which might have an impact in certain nitpicky
situations.
