Oh dude! You've so gotta come... and that's coming from someone who has
to put the real value of this thing in perspective.... I normally got to
cons that are like many times (hundreds going on thousands) the size of
this con. And I'm like 6-8 hours away! (Hey Chris)... I went last year,
and I had a blast... it was fun spending the first time just walking
around, watching people play... and getting a glimpse of the friendships
this list harbors... I even met a few people from the list and talked to
them... something that was way cool... why, it was going to ECC 7 that
got me to actually join the list... and while I haven't been vocal since
then... the feed back I get from the occasional post is great....

And yeah, I'm sorry for not having posted the Space Whales... I still
haven't had time to write them down... however, I have expanded the
ideas just a little to include "Etherwhales, Voidsharks, Solardolphins,
Star-Eels, and ... yeah, bad joke... Gamma Rays".

Greetings all,

I've been lurking here for some time now, not really having had much
input
since NW Ohio is a gaming wasteland - except for GW :P . But I've been
debating whether of not to attend ECC this year (missed last year). If
you
would like to go, Beth, that tips the scale in favor of going this year.

It's not really out of the way to go through Columbus instead of taking
the
turnpike. If you want to go, I'd be happy to pick you up.
