It does appear to have some excellent features. But then it really is 
pretty 
much just a repackaged H&K G36, which in itself is supposed to be a

good rifle. Standard issue XM-8 looks like it will be the equivalent to
the  G36 
K. Quite futuristic looking casing it has.
