We talked it over this weekend and we are going to take your advice and
use:
M249 AR/Bipod	  FP:d8  RB:Qx2
M249 LMG/Tripod   FP:d8  RB:Qx3  1-crew SW

However, another question was raised:

Should the bipod and tripod modes of the M240 also use a single FP
rating and differ instead in the RB multiplier?
