i got that the latest references had nothing to do
with a deal extant, but the "special offers' tag got
my attention so i thought I would ask to what it
referred.

As i don't peruse this list via the archives (and as
such do not have the advantage of the message
geneology displayed there) and rely instead upon the
email-side, i did not read the original message,
