G'day,

> I'd love to see the minis you use for these gents.

The land guys are octopus figures with energy shields made from small
sewing rings and painted overhead plastic. The water based chamelon
aliens are reptilian painted with the same colours as most of our
terrain. Works surprisingly well. I'm working on a mirror effect using
metallic paints and varnish, but I don't think that wuill be much use
except on large parts of vehicles.

The human "battleskins" are really only done via camo paint jobs. Nice
enough, but nothing particularly special. One day I will buy Derek a
digital camera and we'll up date our gallery.

Its the best I like best about sci-fi ;)

Do you mean are NOT too uberpowerful? ;)

The odd uber alien isn't too bad so long as they also don't come in
number (so can be beat down by overwhelming numbers... eventually) or if
they're in a scenario there to represent mans last stand or something ;)

Cheers
