Most fighters use 'endurance' to fire, so one
may assume that the energy (Fuel/power pack)
is converted to fire the weapon. The only
fighter to have ordinance is the Torp fighter.
A single energy/recharge point in the bay for
each fighter would suffice. One additional
'traveling' point could be used to provide
energy for small ships and as a 'spare'
in case of battle damage.

Bye for now,
John L.
