Actually the archive's now at http://lists.firedrake.org/gzg/ .

My design philosophy is something like:

Fragile hulls
Lots of fighters (down to the cruiser level)
Lots of SMRs
Big scary spinal weapons

but this is a bit cheesy under the current rules.
