The following is one of my incompletely equipped DS2 forces' TO&E -
Royal Russian Republic ( an 'associated' group out of the Romanov
Hegemony - i.e., too important to suppress but not important enough to
co-opt so send them to a frontier planet and have the secret police
observe.)

In SG 2 terms the RRR squads are 8 soldiers, either all male or all
female, usually the former. They are equipped with D6 personal armor, 6
of them carry AARs and two serve as a crew for the AGL. This converts
to
D12 firepower (until the first casualty of course) and D10 impact for
the
grunts. The Support weapon uses a D12 foe firepower and a D8* for
impact.

In DS 2 terms:

The numbers in brackets are the number of miniatures I actually have 'on
the shelf' or 'on order' currently, as in [ 6 + 2 ] meaning 6 on shelf
and
2 ordered.

ALL - Enhanced ECM, Enhanced GCS, Superior FCS, HMT Tech level,
Reactive armor.

Basic Line/Militia Platoons are Vehicle based with 3 vehicles per
platoon. A Company has five platoons (usually 3 of the basic kind and a
fourth of a "corresponding" kind (infantry if armor and vice versa) plus
a fifth Platoon of some other kind (recon for example.) There is a
Command element for the Company (depending on the basic nature of the
Company) consisting of 2 vehicles. Battalions are three Companies
(usually at least of two
different kinds) with a platoon size HQ unit and a support platoon of
approximately 3 attached Specialist vehicles.

Platoon types would be:

ADS:

Size 3, FGEV, ADS/Bas, PDS/Enh, LAD. [1]

AFV:

	LAFV: Size 3, FGEV, HKP/3, PDS/Sup, LAD. [2 + 1] Sometimes used
as a	"5th" Platoon in Mechanized Companies.	Brigade SF300-203
with 301b	turret.

	APC: Size 3, FGEV, FT x 3, PDS/Enh [0]
These are the regular "line" Infantry platoons. (5 Infantry, 2
APSW, 1 GMS/H, 1 LAD) Usually relegated to the Class
"B"
units (Active Reserves) Planning on getting 3-6 figures. No
model selected currently.

MICV: "Armored" Infantry - the most common kind of 'Infantry' in
the RRR.
	Size 4, SGEV, HKP/3, FT x 2 ($ Infantry, 1 APSW, 1 LAD,)
PDS/Enh. The Most Common "infantry" formation in the RRR
TO&E. [4 + 2] Brigade SF300-303 with 203 turret.

AFV: Size 4, SGEV, HKP/4, PDS/Sup, LAD, additional APSW. [6]
Planning	on more, 6 to 9. Most common AFV. Brigade SF300-301.

	HAFV: Size 4, SGEV, HKP/5, PDS/Enh, LAD. [6] Brigade
SF300-201e.

Tube ARTY: Size 4, SGEV, RAM Gun, PDS/Sup, LAD, APFC. [3]
Brigade
		SF300-201b.

MLRS: Pending.	Maybe.	Considering Pfc-in-C M270 MLRS (3 in a
blister)

6 mm miniatures rule!

Glenn
