Well, after everyone's input here is what I have decided to do! For
Dirtside I am going to go with the 6mm obviously. I have tons of stuff
already for it so no problems really there. For SG, I have decided to
collect on a large scale, 15mm miniatures. I am aware, for the most
part
thanks to you guys on this list, that the range isn't there yet from GZG
but
hope to see more from them. For now I can go to scratch builds and
other
lines for vehicles.
I will also be collecting a small force of 25mm figs, I am picking some
up
anyway for a homebrew game and figure a couple of more platoons should
cover
me when I game with other people on that scale. Fortunately most of my
locale fellow gamers don't game SG yet so I can encourage them, after
running some demos, etc, to go with the 15mm ;) line as well!

Thanks
Jason

I know the archives probably say more about 6/15/25-28mm, but I must
admit
I've been a 15mm player for some years and prefer it (in SG using the
same
groundscale as for 25mm) as it looks and feels balanced to me on-table.
I've even run a few SF participation games in 15mm (but it's not ideal
as
you frankly don't get the visual figure-impact). Whilst there a few
good-looking 15mm figs and vehicles out there, they are far outnumbered
by
the 6mm and 25mm brigade - who are absolutely spoit for choice with some

fantastic stuff.

If you're looking for variety, then don't touch 15mm.
