Egyptians and Israelis do or did have units of female soldiers.  I
don't know that they ever saw action.  I would assume that *some*
nation will try this within the next 200 years, eg for powered armor
troopies.

Depends on how much time and effort you have available, and who you're
facing.  Netting and sheets are probably not going to help much
against first line sensors.  Even today, when you apply camo you
always try to get natural vegetation if possible, for the best match.
