Which reminds of an episode from when I served in the Bundesluftwaffe.
As an freshly-drafted intelligence clerk, I was to take down the
pilots' in-flight reports.
The usual exercise area was a patch of North Sea coast that was marked
by several old shipwrecks. On my first assignment, I puzzled over a
report of a successful attack on the Kongo.
Turned out, one of the ship's names was 'Kongo'.
