I do a fair amount of work in Visual Basic, and though I have C++ the
learning curve is a bit too steep to handle in my spare time...  (I was
able
to learn and use VB at work).

If you could cough up a flowchart I suspect there are  a lot of people
who
would be very interested in seeing it! I'd be interested in seeing any
information about how it works, even in C.

(Or if you're feeling especially masochistic, it should be possible to
reduce your program to a DLL and call it via an Excel macro... He he he)
