This could be different national tradition for casting and naming toy
soldiers. In Germany they are known as Zinnsoldaten ( Tin figures ),
whereas, AFAIK, in English they usually are called Lead Soldiers - as in
Spanish (Soldados de Plomo). Pewter drinking vessels are also called
'Zinn'
in Germany.
Don't know about Swedish, though.
