Tank Brigades: As I mentioned previously, these are
independant units not part of a divisional structure.
They are either Army assets or Corps assets. Use the
Tank Regiment structure with the following
modifications.
Maneuver Battalions: A seperate tank brigade most
likely has 4 tank battalions and 1 motorized rifle
battalion. However, the mix might be 3 tank
battalions and 2 motorized rifle battalions.
Air Defense Battalion: Use the battalion structure
above, except with 3 batteries of 4 SA-34 launchers, 1
SP AA battery, and 1 battery of shoulder-fired SAMs.

Alternative Tank Organizations:
The technology of the 22nd century has made the old
Heavy Tank concept viable again. Again these are
Class A equipment designs. Class B and C Heavy Tank
Regiments do not provide BMPs for the Assault Company
as tank-riding is viable on tracked vehicles where it
is not so viable on GEVs or Grav vehicles. In those
cases the driver and gunner are replaced by riflemen.

Another varient armored unit much beloved of gamers is
the flamethrower tank battalion. These are Army Group
assets and as such are pretty damn rare. But they are
a lot of fun. Writing rules for a size 4 flamethrower
is left as an exercise for the reader.
