Subject: DSII: Parts for kit-bashing

I just came upon an unexpected windfall (Thank you, Mr. Alderfer), and
now
I'm looking for extra parts to capitalize on it. Does anyone know of a
supplier that sells 6mm parts such as thruster engines, weapons pods,
etc.?

How about the little box-scale Revell precoloured aircraft kits? Many
have
stores, nozzles etc as separate parts- the attack helo set is especially
good for this (Apache, Tiger, Mi-28). The detail is often a bit soft,
but
they are very cheap. Many also have conversion potential themselves- I'm
attempting a bomber from a MiG-29 - most are a little large for 6mm
unless
representing larger machines.

Also: Revell 1/1200 warships- very cheap, lots of bits.

Also: "Collectair" (Scotia Micromodels aircraft range) 1/300 accessories
http://website.lineone.net/~grendel.co/collectairaccessories.html

Also: Academy Hobby Model Kits "Sky Giants" range includes a 1/260 B-1,
a
1/320 B-52 and a 1/300 XB-70, all cheap so there's no angst at chopping
them.
