I have a decorated plate from the time of the Great War. One bloke is
sitting
on a HUGE shell, with a hammer and chisel, totally engrossed in
attempting
to
take off the fuse.
Another bloke is standing nonchalantly nearby, fag in mouth, with the
caption:

"Give it a good 'ard un Bert. You can genully ear em fizzin afore they
go
