OK, this brings up my complete lack of knowledge about
land warfare.

Definitions:

Fire Team - 3-5 men
squad - 2 fire teams?
Platoon - 3-4 squads? or 3-4 units of armour?

After this I am even more clueless

Company?
Brigade?
Battalion?
Any I missed?

Oh, on the books subject, has anyone read the Shelley books?
Cadet, Lt, Captain, etc?
