WELL, i was not exactly thnking of human GENEVA CONVENTION approved
weaponry in a sci-fi universe.

and of course, friend JOHN and others who have BEEN THERE, DONE THAT (
including yours truly) are more than aware of all of the myriads of
governments, semi -governments, para militaries, guerillas and etc,
who are not members of this accord, who have indeed never heard of it,
would not follow the rules if they did know of it, and who think that
"civilized warfare" is pure bull shit anyway.

somehow, the idea that alien militaries or civilizations who view the
universe from their own perspectives (made in"gods" image, and etc)
giving a damn as to what the rules of	war are and why they should
apply to THEM in an interspecies conflict with HUMANs as a bit of a
laugh!

of course, even aliens	might know of and respect the law of combat
known as "PAY BACK IS A BITCH!" , and realize just how dark ruthless
and bloody this method of war is. . . .

especially in an interspcies conflict.
