Even acid rounds should not really be that much of threat. They might
eat
through the armour, but this wouldn't really be a quick process, so you
could chuck off the section hit. Unless you come up with some PSB
ultra-rapid and poisonous acid. On the other hand, armour could be made
acid-resistant, too.
