Subject: OT: Solar System Maps and Ctrs...

Hi Guys,

I finally finished a map I originally started for a Jovian Chronicles
Lightning Strike campaign that never happened.	It is of our solar
system
and has all bodies with a radius greater than or equal to 120 km. The
means
all 9 planets, 22 largest moon, 13 largest asteroids, and the largest
Centaur are covered. The inner map has from the Sun out to Jupiter.
The
outer map is from Jupiter to Pluto.

If you would like a copy, please e-mail me off-list.

Included in the 4.24 meg zip file is:
6 pdf files of the inner solar system map
6 pdf files of the outer solar system map
1 pdf file small scale map of the inner solar system map
1 pdf file small scale map of the outer solar system map
1 pdf file of 24 color counters of all objects tracked on the maps
1 xcel workbook of the all objects with a radius greater than or equal
to
120 km

All files can be printed on 8.5 x 11 paper. Choose print as image for
best
result. Xcel workbook has formulas but no macro's.

Notes:
Orbits are in hexagonal approximation to circular orbits.
Asteroids do not have elliptical orbits (it would be a true mess to
track).
For ease of play, move each object on the inner map one hex per
turn,
and each object on the outer map one hex per eight turns. It's
not
accurate for orbital velocities, but better then nothing.
Jupiter transfer orbit from inner to outer maps. Dark shaded areas
to
dark shaded areas, light shaded areas to light shaded areas.
No Trojan asteroids in Jupiter's orbit because none are large enough
to
make the 120 km radius cut off.
Pluto's and Chariklo's orbits are correct.	They are that
elliptical.
Asteroid EP scalar is a multiplier to the Economic Points generated
by
asteroids to represent other small
settlements on smaller asteroids around the major asteroids. I
recommend values from 1 to 4.
