Subject: em4 figures

My experience with Stratelibri has been that contacting them is a
fruitless task. I didn't try mediums or psychics, or ortillery, but any
or all of these would probably have a better chance of success than
simple things like e-mail.

I have old Grenadier Future Wars figs and the EM4 figs are clear knock
offs from the originals, and are the same size. They are 28mm. This is
to say, they look quite oversize in comparison to Jon's new slightly
heftier NAC figures which look hefty compared to the original NAC figs.

If Coppelstone's new figs are bigger, then we're talking about 30mm
(even if they claim 28mm).

I Have about 50 troopers now to use in Aliens scenarios. I just need to
find an appropriate bug (Genestealers are too easy). The Chaos Weasel
may fit the bill, but somebody has to get a picture up on the web so I
can see one assembled and painted!

And Foundry's stuff may be expensive, but for games like the GZG ECC
"Cheese Game", the B-Team would be perfect. As it is, I'm entering a
team consisting of Annie Oakley, Trinity, Sarah Connor and Lara Croft in
a yellow mustang convertible. But the B-Team in a Van would have been
tres awesome too.

Now, here's another 64 dollar question: Someone made some Twilight2000
figures. True 25mm, in modern kit, well sculpted, with nice weapons
(modern ones like M16s). I'd like to get some more of these guys, but I
don't know if anyone is producing them from the moulds anymore. Anyone
seen them or know where I could find more? (Note: Ted, this doesn't
include you since I got the first ones off of you... *grin*)

Tomb.

PS - Rumor has it Los will be back around sometime soon. Dunno if he'll
come back on-list then, given I also hear he'll be shipping out in a few
more weeks again. Be nice to see his contributions again. We'll miss him
at ECC this year (and I hope Magic can make it!).
