Yeah.  And if pogues were all good soldiers, we
wouldn't have this problem either.  The thing is, you
can't have one set of rules for idiots and another for
non-idiots.

If you can't operate a safety reliably (M-16 safety is
NOT complex) you don't deserve to carry in the first
place.	It's just a simple switch.
