WELL, I HOPE THIS MAKES IT TO THE LIST THIS TIME!

HERE are some real world camoflage uiform examples to look over and
think about when considering alien world camoflage schemes.

CAMOFLAGE, whether it is painted or dyed, or produced by a high tech
sneaksuit worn over normal armor and battlle dress has but one pupose.

TO BREAK UP SHAPES AND OUTLINES.

ALSO, remember that all high tech wonderfulness will eventually fail
under field service conditions that designers NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED for
some reason or reasons.

THE more complicated something is, the greater the chance of MURPHY"S
LAW coming into play .

Sooo, even in the far future, "modern" uniforms will be dyed to match
local terrain colors, and maybe even treated with agents to reduce the
wearer's IF signature as a cost effective low tech method of camoflage.

( I vaguely remember something about USA battledress in the 80s-90s was
supposed to be treated with an agent to reduce IF signature, but that it
did not work well or t all after several washings in soap and water. I
just cannot remember now if this progressed beyond the	experimental
stage , or has been discontinued now)

Skin paint will continue in use too as long as soldiers fight with
exposed skin and try to conceal their flesh tones by camoflage.

Ditto for the painting of camoflage patterns on vehicles, weapons, and
aero- space craft.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT....

SEE World Camouflage below on included page note. This is the WEBTV way
of forwrding URLs sometimes without using the address (which I have not
a clue to!) from my favorites files.
